The Tumbling Goose crew is led by Lisa Hamidi. Born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI, Lisa fulfilled her passion for aviation with trips to the airports watching planes with her father including numerous Blue Angel events over the years.   

Although Lisa never earned her pilot’s license her love of aviation has continued as Scott’s partner in crime. She has participated in various Sport Air Race League races over the past 10 years as his navigator and has helped the team earn 1st and 2nd place finishes in both the Glasair 3 and L-39 Jet.  We won’t mention her penchant for tossing a few pancakes after those races.

When Tumbling Goose started racing at the National Championship Air Races in 2017, Lisa immediately fell in love with everything about the Reno Air Races. She has led the troops ever since and immediately starts counting the days until the next year’s races. Her love of racing has also led to her appointment as the treasurer for Racing Jets Incorporated, which oversees the operations and training of the jet class at Reno. 

Away from her crew chief duties Lisa can be found working from home as a tax & banking specialist for Iris Software Group and working on her master's degree in accounting from Penn State.
